The newly opened SweetSpot at ArtScience Museum boasts a menu that is equal parts healthy and earth-friendly, using sustainable ingredients. This matches the museum’s own eco-friendly efforts, such as its bowl-shaped, rainwater-harvesting roof.

Besides the usual tea, coffee and cake options, SweetSpot also offers salads, wraps, smoothies and a wholesome kids’ menu with delicious offerings such as Cauliflower Mac & Cheese, frozen yogurt and artisanal cakes that will please the pickiest of young diners.

For adults, the smoothies are great pick-me-ups: Avocado Glow features avocado, banana, mango, spinach and dates blended in soy milk and is loaded with natural sugars, vitamins and iron, while Hearty Start with almond milk, turmeric, honey, dates, chia seeds, cinnamon and a dash of sea salt is chock-full of proteins and antioxidants.

For something more satiating, sample the gluten-free Wafu Salad With Fish and Avocado & Heirloom Tomato Salad. You can also customise your own from the many meat, vegetarian and gluten-free options available.
