We often overlook the time we need to take good care of ourselves amidst our fast-paced lives. Take a pause and be part of an array of experiences you can participate, ponder, and practice on taking care of your personal well-being.
Pick up finger knitting technique, be immersed in a sound healing session, or go on a hunt for positive self-care messages around the museum.

Sensory Odyssey: Into the Heart of Our Living World Exhibition Galleries
S$30 per participant. Ticket includes entry to the exhibition. Limited slots available.
The act of stopping and smelling nature might seem like a big task amidst our rapid pace of life. Taking time out to slow down and surround ourselves with nature may bring forth great healing benefits.
Practise mindfulness in this guided sound meditation session where your senses are awakened by nature in Sensory Odyssey: Into the Heart of Our Living World exhibition and the resonance from instruments.

Drop-in Activities by Singapore Association of Mental Health

Complimentary on a first-come, first-served basis
Developed in collaboration with Singapore Association of Mental Health Creative Services, this series of drop-in activities uses art as a way to re-focus our thoughts and facilitate self-reflection to enhance good mental well-being. It is believed that the creative process is an empowering tool for participants to know themselves better regardless of the aesthetic outcome of the artwork.
All are welcome regardless of art skills level. You will only need curiosity and interest to use art to express!

Drop-in: Finger Knitting
6 Oct (Fri) and 10 Oct (Tue), 11am – 1pm, 3pm – 5pm

Complimentary on a first-come, first-served basis
Visitors can take time to be anti-productive as they calm their hands and anxious minds by learning how to finger knit. At the end, participants will undo their creations while releasing their emotions, giving oneself the permission to slow down and experience the present through the act of ‘unmaking’.
